SOCIAL JUSTICE CLUB
CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY MONTH!
Rochester Community Schools remains proud of our students who seek opportunities to contribute to a diverse, interdependent and changing world. This past year, high school students from across the district formed a student-led club called the Black Student Union. In celebration of Black History Month, one of the Black Student Union’s first projects included filming a four-part video series that highlights students, staff and community members as they share their reflections about Black culture and experiences. Each week during the month of February, we will be sharing one video from the series.

SHERIFF MIKE BOUCHARD UPDATES!
Oakland County Sheriff, Mike Bouchard, is asking all Oakland County school districts to show the attached school safety video to all students.
The content in the video link below covers two important areas:
1)If you see something, say something – Asking all students to report anything that makes them uncomfortable, scared or unsafe.
2)Inappropriate messages (verbal, written or social media) will be investigated and prosecuted – Reminding all students to be mindful of what they say and post. Inappropriate messages that scare people are against the law.
