SPOTLIGHT ON INSTRUCTION
Special Guest: Megan Rehm
Chemistry students are learning about different types of chemical bonds and the properties involved in each type of bond. In this lab, students were given seven substances in which they ran a number of tests to determine what type of bond makes up the particular substance. The three main tests they ran were based on solubility, conductivity and melting point. In the end, students were able to determine properties of both covalent and ionic bonds.
