If your child has an early dismissal please call the attendance line as early as possible in the day at 248-726-5310. This is an automated number that is checked continuously between 6:30am – 3:00pm. Have your student pick up their pass in the morning, during passing time, or at lunch. We do not deliver passes. However, we will deliver a pass if it is a last minute emergency.
Please feel free to utilize the PARENTVUE to report an absence (full day or partial day). Simply note in the COMMENT SECTION, the time of the early dismissal or late arrival.
If you do not call to report the early dismissal you will have to wait until one of our Safe-Ed Security interrupts the class to get the student which can take up to 15 minutes. Once the early dismissal is reported and the student has picked up their pass they are free to meet you in the pick-up loop. You are not required to come into the building.

Please be reminded that our main office does not provide water or cups unless it is an emergency. Although, our drinking fountains are all turned off throughout the building, we do have several functioning water filling stations available for your students to get water from. They need to bring a water bottle to school with them each day or a small six pack of bottled water each week. Remember, water is available for purchase during lunch periods in the school store and the vending machines.

TRI-HIGH SCIENCE OLYMPIAD TEAM
This Saturday, members of our Science Olympiad team traveled to Detroit Country Day School to participate in their regional competition. This year, the team consisted of kids from Adams, Rochester, and Stoney Creek high schools to form the first tri-high team in national Science Olympiad history. Members worked very hard throughout the year to study for tests, conduct experiments, and build models for their events, and saw their hard work pay off in their success.

2022-2023 SCHEDULING MEETINGS
Hello Adams Families!
Please see below for the dates when your student will be meeting with counselors regarding the scheduling process (choosing classes for next school year). We will be presenting to students in their English classrooms to pass out scheduling cards and discuss how to fill them out. Once students and families have completed their cards, they should turn them in to their English teachers. In addition, students are required to input their course requests into StudentVUE before they submit their cards to their teachers. For the final step of the process, Counselor Review, students will come down to the counseling office to meet with their counselor individually to go over their course requests together and ask any questions they may have.
All scheduling materials including our PowerPoint, with the exception of the scheduling card, can be found on Google Classroom. There is also a short video posted on Google Classroom explaining how to enter the courses into Synergy through StudentVue.
